Come farmstay at a homestead at our unique, bespoke, completely private little house, that is totally off-grid and almost fully self sufficient. The homestead farm is tucked away in an indigenous forest and the secluded, comfortable, eco-cottage overlooks the Gonubie River valley a stone's throw from East London, with easy access to East London Airport (King Phalo Airport). You are welcome to take a tour of the farm and systems, harvest your own organic vegetables, or just relax on the deck.

Our house is bright, airy and welcoming with an open-plan lifestyle, large sliding doors opening onto a covered verandah and a private courtyard and secure off-street parking. You're just minutes from the beach and shops and our neighbourhood is safe and friendly. The sunny main bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms both have two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. Our house is filled with books, love and light and we look forward to your visit!

The master room offers a queen bed overlooking the ocean, the second bedroom has two single beds. Our balcony equipped with outdoor furniture boasts a breathtaking view, making it perfect for watching the sunrise or to simply relax with the calming waves. Our open plan guest cottage offers a queen sized bed with high quality cotton linen, uncapped wifi, a HD smart tv, full DSTV & battery backup for load shedding. A well equipped kitchenette with stove and oven makes self catering easy. For those who enjoy walking and running, we are a short 2km away from Nahoon river and beach. Spar and a selection of great restaurants and coffee shops are also a short walk away.

Oregon Cottage is a cosy, open-plan, self-catering accommodation unit suitable for two, tucked away in the quieter part of town, on the edge of a large, protected, indigenous riverine forest. The forest is home to buck, prolific bird life and many other species of animals, which makes it a perfect hideaway for nature lovers and, in particular, birding enthusiasts. If you are up for it, we can guide you on walks to secret, quieter places of natural beauty.

Our self catering studio, with backup power and aircon, is connected to the main house. It offers a neat and cozy open plan studio style unit with private entrance and private deck. There is remote access and off street parking for 1 vehicle. Double cab bakkies with a tow hitch don’t fit when there’s 2 cars parked in - where on street parking is generally safe in our quiet neighbourhood. Nahoon Beach and river is 1.5km, Spar and restaurants 500m away.

It is approx 20 minutes drive from the East London CBD and 35 minutes drive from the airport.
