Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2/3 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

Whilst being a very relaxing and welcoming house for families it is also the perfect location for friends who wish to have a break away. Birnie Cottage is a self catering property which has its own hedged, private garden, an open fire and woodland walks, and is situated on the A926, roughly half way between Kirriemuir in Angus, and Blairgowrie in Perthshire - an ideal location for touring both of these beautiful counties and beyond. Birnie has no additional fees, is very dog friendly and your pets stay free of charge. The cottage also has its own social media page to keep you up to date with what to do and where to eat locally.
