It’s walking distance to Midtown and a short drive to Grindstone Lake, Ski Apache and Ruidoso Downs Race Track. We have a cozy outdoor fire pit and a BBQ on our back deck plus an additional sitting area on our front deck. My husband and I stay at Airbnb’s frequently and feel we have provided a great place for you to stay.

There are hiking, walking and biking trails steps outside the front door. Many deer and elk are sure to greet you in the morning and evenings, they are often seen drinking water from the creek located right on the property. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in any of our four decks, surrounded by pines.

This newly remodeled studio cabin has all the amenities you need to relax during your stay in Ruidoso. The kitchenette comes with dishes and cooking utensils, to accommodate cooking if you choose. There is a stocked coffee bar to enjoy during cool mornings and evenings. The cabin is located off of Sudderth, and approximately 1-2 miles from downtown. It is very close to local restaurants, cafes and shopping. The studio cabin sits behind the owners house, there is a separate gate entrance.

“Sprucewood” is one of the few original 1940s split-log cabins in the popular and wooded Upper Canyon. Filled with new, modern-rustic design, it’s an historical gem at the top of the hill, with deck overlooking distant mountain peaks, pines, and cabins. Friendly deer walk through the yard. The river is a scenic stroll away. An easy hike through the woods of Perk Canyon is a 2-minute drive; shops & dining are a 5-minute drive. With hot tub, and ski-lodge decor, it screams mountain cabin getaway

Lovely, large private non smoking suite with full bath, kitchenette, deck, and private entry, on the first level of our 3 level townhome at the peaceful dead end of Racquet Drive. It can snow here anytime between Nov. and April and you may need an all wheel drive vehicle. Then again it may be 60 degrees! Ruidoso main roads are well plowed but our little paved dead end road is often a low priority. Unless the highways coming into Ruidoso are closed, this is not a valid cancellation reason.

Driving up to the house we fell in love with the breathtaking views before we even stepped inside. We hope you will too. It is easy to unwind and relax while having your morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the large deck overlooking the Sierra Blanca Mountains and the top of Ski Apache. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the deer that roam the area in the early morning and at dusk.

If you are here during the snowy season, the backyard is great for sledding.
