Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. The cottage dates back to 1860 and has a spacious living room with wood-burning stove, seperate kitchen with dining table, two small cosy bedrooms & a modern bathroom. Accommodates 4 guests with additional accommodation available for a further 2 guests. A wood-fired hot tub can be set up for an extra charge of £120

Ballymacashen Cottage is a 19th century traditional Irish cottage set in a rural setting in the heart of County Down. Relax and enjoy this cosy cottage, with a wood burning stove and quiet surroundings, or enjoy a variety of outdoor activities on offer in the area. We are spoilt with local pubs and restaurants in the nearby villages of Balloo and Lisbane, but the cottage is also only 13miles from Belfast City Centre. The cottage has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, a kitchen and living room.

My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities and art and culture. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families. If you love nature, beautiful walks and fishing then this would be an ideal location for you! Game of Thrones fans would also think it a good spot. Please note there is one bedroom with a queen bed downstairs and a day bed which can be made into two singles upstairs. There is no door between.
