Backbone State Park is three miles away. A great area for trout streams, hunting , hiking , golfing and snowmobling in the winter.

It features 4 bedrooms, including 2 king beds and 2 queen beds. This charming property offers a cozy retreat for guests. Bedroom one is located on the main floor with a king bed. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs featuring a king and 2 queen beds. There are two full bathrooms. The kitchen is completely stocked.

The EJ house was built in 1905 with the original woodwork, stain glass windows and front door. The house is a little over 1600 sqft of living space. The house has 4 bedrooms with three queen beds and one full size bed. Guests will find it to be surprisingly spacious and a comfortable place to work, play or relax. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the house. The house has central air for those warm summer days or enjoy the large back deck. The woodwork is original to the house.

You must bring what you need or plan to travel 8 miles to Elkader (Dollar General, Wilkes Grocery, pit stop gas station)or strawberry point (Dollar General, Casey’s and Nadings gas stations)
