JULY FLOOD DIDNT AFFECT US 5 miles from Bandera, on a hill high above the river, our vintage lodge has two unique buildings built in the early 30’s. The rock main house has kitchen, LR, 1 king bedroom and sunporch with 4 twins; the frame annex has 2 bedrooms, 1 king and 1 queen, and a huge “celebration room” for group events. Our area of the river never stopped flowing during brutal recent summers, unlike other parts of the Medina. As of 8/1/2025, the water is clear & high enough for tubing.

Welcome to the river house, our little slice of central Texas heaven! Here you’ll find a comfy, secluded, private home on the banks of the Medina river, located 45 minutes outside of San Antonio and a short 15 minute drive to Bandara. This recently renovated two bedroom all rock home has a bonus room, a large full bath, spare half bath, and everything a family could need to enjoy a great trip to the Medina river. The river is very family friendly and 100 yards directly in front of the house.
