The cottage is just 1/2 a mile from Finchingfield, one of the prettiest villages in the country, with great pubs & tea rooms. The cottage is hosted by Catherine who lives on site. Acorn Cottage (4 bed) can be rented in conjunction with Dynes cottage.

The recently converted Nissen Barn is located on a farm in its own private meadow. The barn is surrounded by the beautiful Essex countryside - rolling hills, ancient trees, wildflowers and grasses, hedgerows, horses and sheep. The conversion was completed in March 2021 and sleeps 4 adults in 2 big bedrooms. There is also a loft bedroom accessed by a hidden door with a king size mattress suitable for older children or a couple. Perfect for families, but note there is no enclosed garden.

If you wish to leave your car, if you are flying from Stansted, we can offer long-term parking for £10/day (vs £25/day at Stansted Airport). Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
