Fox pod is one of 6 hand built wooden glamping pods with a private Jacuzzi hot tub on a family run glamping site. Its hidden down a farm track in the middle of farmland. It has fabulous countryside views, and access to public footpaths /scenic walks, one of which takes you to the farm shop with coffee shop and forest adventure trail. Its a 10 minute drive into Durham City with a Castle, Cathedral, University, market, shops, cinema, bowling, and rowing boats for hire on the stunning river.

Cosy Cabin on 20 Acre Private Estate - Deer Lodge

The Deer Lodge is one of three nearly identical lodges set in a quiet wooded corner of our 20 acre estate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. There are no roads bordering the guest areas so expect a quiet and peaceful stay, surrounded by nature and away from it all! The lodge has no cooking facilities but has a fridge with icebox as well as a selection of tea & coffee. We have a cosy indoor BBQ hut available to book for the evening with all cooking tools & charcoal provided.

Thorneymire Cabin

A luxury wood cabin situated in 3 acres of private ancient woodland. The cabin has been hand crafted using reclaimed materials from an old mill in Chester and is fully insulated. Experience the peace and tranquillity, watch the stars through the star gazing window; enjoy the views across Widdale Beck to the fells beyond and delight in watching red squirrels in nearby trees. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.

Welcome to West Hoppyland; self-catering accommodation in our cosy wooden lodges. We are situated adjacent to Hamsterley Forest in the stunning landscape of the northern dales on the edge of the Pennine moors, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Picturesque Weardale is only four miles to the North, the breathtaking sights of Teesdale only six miles to the South. It is an ideal base for outdoor activities, and close to the historic cathedral city of Durham.

Quiet place to relax and unwind

Cosy Lodge for a romantic weekend away or a family break for a family maximum 2AD and 2C We will accept two dogs only. we charge 40 pounds per dog so I have set the price at 40 per 1 and will send an additional charge to add the 2nd dog or you can pay on arrival Only 11 lodges in the park, all spread out, a perfect place to relax. There is ample parking next to your lodge, and no Electric car charging on site currently.

The lodge is extremely cosy with impressive countryside views. Hot tub and other extras can be added onto booking (see additional notes) It has a fully equipped kitchen and open plan living space that opens onto private decking with wood fired hot tub, outdoor shower (summer months only July and August) , al fresco dining, BBQ and firepit. There is an extremely large comfy king bed on the mezzanine with en-suite /shower.
