Adjacent to the kitchen is a sunroom/dining room looking out to the mountain views all around. the bathroom is newly refurbished with a spacious shower, a toilet and wash hand basin. there are 2 bedrooms. one doube, one twin. A 200-year-old church hall, transformed into a uniquely spacious & stylish townhouse, accommodating 4 guests in comfort. Terracotta flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a solid-fuel stove. The open-plan layout consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a double-height living/dining area. The bedroom has a King-size bed (200cmx150cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is a spacious mezzanine with two single beds. This mezzanine overlooks the open-plan living room.

We provide sourdough, homemade jam, a homemade tipple & a few staples on arrival. A rural retreat right in the heart of vibrant West Cork.

Landsdowne Cottage is a 200 year old estate cottage on the edge of 40 acres of nature reserve . We are a 35 year old forest garden planted with a variety of fruit and nut trees. Red squirrel can be seen in the autumn stocking up their stores for the winter. We are situated between the lakes, waterfall and ancient standing stones of Gleninchaquin Valley and Coornagillagh beach. We are ideally located to explore the stunning Ring of Beara, known for its rugged beauty and coast line.

Normal usage costs about €15-30 per week (usage is metered, guests responsible for turning on/off) free WiFi, free to air TV. Parking for 1 car.

We like art, design, cooking & gardening & our home reflects this ! We hope you make Garden House your home while you stay! Also two adult bicycles & helmets available for use during your stay so you can enjoy some of the amazing cycle routes on the country lanes, which surround the house!

Harbour Lights

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.
