The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. You’ll love my place because it is on top of a mountain where you are surrounded by fruit orchids and mountains. Also, loadshedding does not affect us as we are on solar. We are only 160km from Cape town. We live right next door but do not mind a good party, all within limits of course! The dam is a short walk away where you are welcome to use the two paddle boards and canoe. The house can keep you entertained with pool table, boardgames, books, WIFI, ping pong table and Soundsystem.

Grysklip High Mountain Stone Cottage, Cederberg

This grey-stone cottage is built against a rock face which is a dramatic back wall for the interior. All the stone used for the walls was collected nearby, so the cottage disappears into the landscape. The views are spectacular in every direction. The interior is cosy with wooden floors and Cape furniture and Himalayan textiles. There are two 3/4 beds. The bathroom has a shower set against the rock-face, and there is a wonderful double outdoor bath.
