The Burrow

The Burrow is a quirky and snuggly little bolthole. Small, well behaved dogs are welcome. (No large breeds. Maximum cocker spaniel size, PLEASE respect this). Enjoy the fenced, enclosed garden with views across the fields. A short walk from the local dog friendly pub. kitchen, lounge with woodburner (logs supplied). Smart TV, wifi, king size bed, (electric blanket in winter), air fryer, shared washing machine/dryer, parking and storage for bikes etc. Private hot tub, (bring flip flops!)

Set on the edge of Boconnoc Estate and the outskirts of Lostwithiel you will find our large 1 bedroom converted barn. We are quite centrally located in Cornwall. South coast beaches can be found 5 miles away with the north coast being around 20 miles away. You will find so many things to do including walking, sightseeing, fishing, visiting many types of attractions. We offer a warm welcome and as much or as little interaction as you prefer. You will find yourself surrounded by nature.

Snuggling in a wooded corner of our paddock the cabin is a lovely secluded escape for two. In one of the quietest parts of Cornwall with complete privacy you will hear the hoots of owls and chorus of birdlife, and with no light pollution the night skies are magnificent. The coast is nearby, with the Fowey estuary just down the road, and glorious beaches and coastal footpath a short drive away. It is roomy and comfortable in all weathers, and comes with a private wild garden.

SELF CATERING RURAL RETREAT…. You will be our only guests in the Barn Room Conversion. The Barn studio is situated next to the Main Farm House so you are completely private to come and go as you wish. We have an outdoor seating area opposite the Studio We provide Tea, coffee, sugar milk. The garden is surrounded by a patchwork of meadows, with far reaching views down the valley towards Fowey and up to the iron age hill fort of Bury Down. The Tamblyn family have farmed, nurtured & styled the farm for 159 years, three generations live here today. Therapeutic massage available in our on-site treatment room.
