Slad - lovely rural views

We have lived in Slad since 1985, it is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year - our guests can explore the lovely valley and surrounding countryside; we're two miles from Stroud. Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Cotswolds are within easy reach. We have really enjoyed being Airbnb hosts for over 5 years ; we have two rooms available with double beds (but also suitable for single visitors). We have a lovely, lively collie Zelda, so are now getting lots of Slad walks ourselves too!

The village is a haven of peace and quiet but close to the historic towns of Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Broadway among others. There are also many beautiful walks from the house.

Broadway is just under 3 miles away with more pubs, cafes and shops. Stratford on Avon is the regions cultural centre with its theatre and Shakespearian heritage, and Cheltenham is approx. 11 miles away with excellent shopping, many wonderful restaurants and of course the famous race course
