Basalt's location is convenient to both ends of the Roaring Fork Valley. It is ten-minute walk along the Frying Pan River to downtown Basalt. However, transportation is recommended. We accept pets at the studio, either one large or 2 small; there is a $50 pet fee. Please let us know if you wish to bring yours. We ask that the pet be kennel if left behind while you go out. Obey Town of Basalt's leash and patrol ordinances. Drop cloths provided if they are allowed on furniture.

The guest suite has a private entrance with excellent views and is only a 10 minute walk to downtown Carbondale. The space is comfortable for up to 3 adults or a family of 4. Plenty of sunshine and room to relax after a day of skiing, fishing or hiking! Please be aware that we are on a gravel dirt road. No need for a 4 wheel drive vehicle but can be wet.
