An easy 10 minutes from the town of Golden, our completely unique, elegant, extremely romantic, custom built, all season yurt and modern shower house Note: There is a new build happening on the rural property beside us for summer 2026. During the hours of 8am-5pm Mon-Friday there could be some noise. We reduced our prices to reflect that and promise to take great care of you!:)

Wild Wood Cabins: Deer Crossing (private Hot Tub)

This bright one bedroom cabin holds a rustic charm set in a forested area, located just out of the town of Golden, BC. As the smallest of all the Wild Wood Cabins, the layout of Deer Crossing is cozy and compact, perfect for two guests. There is an open concept bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and washroom. Downstairs has the kitchen and living area sharing one open space. A pull-out-couch is included for an extra guest. Two covered decks also allow for more enjoyable times outdoors.

Black Bear Log Cabin

Black Bear Log Cabin is a locally handcrafted Douglas Fir log cabin nestled in the trees on a private lot, located an easy 15 minute drive south of Golden BC. Situated within easy reach of several national parks, Golden is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise with world class skiing & sledding in the winter. Equally exhilarating are the many summer activities including hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, paragliding, tandem parachuting.

Please note: This space does NOT have a working shower in the winter months and toilet is an incineration toilet (directions on use upon arrival) located in the outhouse mere steps away. Relax in this calm, stylish space nestled in the Rocky Mountains, peacefully backing onto the forest with a view towards Grotto Mountain. Just a short walk away from both the Bow River and the banks of Pigeon Creek. You will have easy access to the local biking and hiking trails. The quiet neighbourhood of Dead Man's Flats is 8-10 minutes from Canmore and 25 minutes from Banff. Our suite is a serene retreat, and not suitable for parties.
