The beautiful canal and countryside are at the end of our peaceful street (South Bank), perfect for country walks, boat hire, canoeing (courses/ solo) paddle board hire or cycling (bikes available) to country pubs/ harbours. There is also easy access by car bus or bike to the Downs including Goodwood as well as the coast at West Wittering and Bracklesham Bay . You can lie ,sit or eat in the sun the house has a south facing garden which is a sun trap .

It is the perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the countryside, as it is recognised for its outstanding natural beauty. We want you to feel at home, and have equipped the cottage accordingly. We are located a stone’s throw from Goodwood and Cowdray, and forty minutes from the coast. The area is renowned for its excellent public footpaths, cycle trails and pubs.

An array of alternative pubs can be found within an easy drive, alternatively have a night in and play boardgames by the wood burning stove. Dogs are absolutely welcome!

The Cabin replaced our old tumbledown sheds. It is completely separate from the main dwelling and has far reaching views to the South Downs. There is one Super King bed in the main area (which can be separated into two single beds) and in the mezzanine, there are two single beds which can be pushed together to become a double. Goodwood (Racing), Midhurst (Polo), Chichester (theatre), South Downs Way (walking / mountain biking) are all within easy reach.

It is also less than a 5 minute walk to Chichester's bus and train station should you want to visit more of the area without a car.
