Being located right on the "Coast to Vines" rail trail and the Onkaparinga River Conservation Park makes it perfect for walking, riding & kayaking.

Sit by the wood combustion fire & warm your soul or lie in until lunchtime in soft linen sheets, listening to birdsong. Lost in the Vines is a very private space in the McLaren Vale wine district, surrounded by vines & views, with lots of great walks, wineries & restaurants nearby. The house is all yours but I am generally around if you have any queries. Walk, ride, read or just kick back.

Strout Farm Cottage Est. 1842.

Strout Farm Cottage still belongs to the Strouts who have lived here for more than 180yrs. Starting with Richard Strout, there have been 7 generations of Strouts live in this cottage. Most of the furniture, photos and ornaments come with a story of where they fit in the Strout timeline. Additionally, there are more than 20 cellar doors within a 1.5km, including Leconfield, Wirra Wirra and Down The Rabbit Hole, this is the perfect location to explore the McLaren Vale wine region..

There are many interesting places to visit in the area - historic towns, forests, beaches and wineries.

The Willunga Markets are close by and the area has plenty of walking trails as well as surf beaches and kayaking. Includes light breakfast provisions and pod coffee machine. The large front yard and courtyard is surrounded by a beautiful garden that provides private sanctuary and local bird habitat.
