Our family own the adjoining property No.62 which can be booked alongside our place to accomodate a larger group.

Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

Our luxury detached Lakeland cottage in the village of Lorton sits in a hidden gem of a valley and is a year round destination . Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. We have a well equipped cooks kitchen with Everhot range and a stocked larder. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

The Mews is a beautifully converted barn, once part of a larger farm, it is now one of a small complex of buildings , surrounded by farmland and overlooking the hills and valleys of the NW Lakes. The location is perfect for walking , cycling, running, open water swimming etc... or for those who like to take things a little easier it is perfect for day trips into the lakes and toward the lesser know scenic west coast .
