We live just a few doors away from the flat so if you need anything during your stay, just let us know. Stockbridge truly is a village in the heart of the city, with everything Edinburgh has to offer right on the doorstep. Edinburgh is best explored on foot so bring comfy shoes and be prepared for some hills ! Taxis and buses are however plentiful with a bus stop right outside the flat taking you to Leith where you can visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. The heart of the city is a comfortable 20 minutes walk from the flat and to the North, Edinburgh’s stunning botanic gardens are only 15 minutes by foot. Parking outside the Flat is free on single yellow lines after 5.30pm and there are no parking restrictions at weekends from 5.30pm on Friday until 8.30am on Sunday morning. Metered parking is available in the neighbouring street. Meters operate from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Stockbridge is right on your doorstep and on Raeburn Place you will find an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bars and food convenience stores. You can walk into the heart of Edinburgh ( Princes St and the castle ) in 20minutes from the Flat. Edinburgh’s botanical gardens are also just a 15 minute walk away.

There are beautiful nearby walks down to the Forth River front and beach. The suite is attached to our family home but the connecting door will be kept locked ensuring your privacy.

Our large family home in Blackhall is perfect for visits to Edinburgh and beyond for families and groups. A short journey from the airport or into town with a large outdoor space with all the ‘mod-con’s’ you will find our home a relaxing place to enjoy yourselves. We have four large double bedrooms as well as sofa bed in the snug. A modern kitchen/diner/ sitting room, a kids play area with trampoline a sunny conservatory, large bathroom with bath and shower as well as living level WC.
