Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Welcome to the quaint and happy town of Ephrata. Our cottage is exactly a one mile walk from downtown eateries and activities. Take the sidewalk or the picturesque Linear Park rail trail straight to Main Street. The famous Green Dragon outdoor market (on fridays) is a couple miles away. Many nearby parks and markets attract locals and tourists alike. We had fun decorating the cottage with a bright, industrial and camera/photo theme. We look forward to hosting you.

Welcome to Home on the Ridge! Bring family or friends to our home with lots of room for indoor and outdoor fun. Our home is within minutes from downtown Ephrata where you can enjoy shopping,sightseeing and lots of great restaurants . We are located within 25 minutes from the town of Intercourse PA. Where you can enjoy a wide variety of Amish quilt and craft shops,take a horse and buggy ride through the country and enjoy Kitchen Kettle Village.

You have full access to tranquil lower level of home. Private access and parking. minutes to route 272, 222 and 322. Private cul-de-sac in quiet town of Akron. Walk or ride your bike 1 block and your on the beautiful scenic RAIL-TRAIL with easy access to Ephrata, Akron and Lititz! FYI -If you are bringing your pet, the fee is $25. We love longer stays and offer a 5% discount for 7 days and 10% for 30 days! Come relax and enjoy the view!
