I’m Akari originally from Kyushu, south part of Japan. I studied in Tokyo, worked in Kyoto once, then I travled around the world by cruise ship as an international youth program staff, then I lived and worked in NL and PEI of Canada for two years and half and I came back to Kyoto.
After the many years of travel, now I want to share my own culture with other people. So I teach Japanese online, and enjoys introducing beautiful Kyoto.
For the last three years I have guided more than 500 tourists in Kyoto. I never get tired of living here because there are so many beautiful spots to check out.

First one is the bamboo forest, and golden temple. To avoid the crowd, we'll go there when they open. Then we go to my favorite secret place. We'll enjoy less crowded Japanese garden, bonsai garden, shopping, and eating lunch.

Miss Akari was very nice. The experience felt very personalized to my needs, and what I wanted, and preferred. She asked me if there were places I wanted to visit, or go to first, and at the end of the trip, she took me to a flea market that I wanted to go to. This flea market only happens once a month, and I got the opportunity to be in Kyoto on time for it. I am really thankful to Miss Akari for going out of her way to take me there. It was a great experience!
