We will be visiting the Greek and Roman galleries of the British Museum. The purpose of this highlights tour is to see the highlights in a little over an hour. It is aimed at people who have an interest, but no specialist knowledge, in the subject. We will focus on: some particularly fine painted Greek vases; some of the masterpieces of Roman silverware, glass, and cameo work; as well as sculpture. We will also survey the Parthenon Marbles.
For a more thorough tour, visitors are encouraged to consider my other tour on offer.
Other things to note
The British Museum is a large place, and we will be walking a lot, so try not to wear shoes that might be uncomfortable. Bring a bottle of water if you like, and remember to have a coffee before we start! :)

I have years of experience working with classical antiquities, including two degrees pertaining to the ancient world (Masters in Classical Archaeology, Oxford; BA in Ancient World, U. of London), and voluntary experience at a number of nationally important museums. I have first-hand experience excavating objects in Turkey and was an events organiser at an academic summer school for children held at Oxford, where I also gave a specialist talk on archaeology. I have been interested in classical art and archaeology, and sharing this interest, for many years.
I am currently applying to study Classics/Art History at grad school in the United States. I have a current CRB check and have lead tours on Airbnb before.
