The house is a unique old fisherman's home from 1875, which has been owned by the family since 1929. Upgraded to today's amenities, without ruining the old nostalgia. The house is located in the center of the nostalgic village of Gjógv. One of the most scenic and idyllic places in the Faroe Islands Here you can imagine going back in time, relaxing and enjoying the tranquility. Yes you can literally listen to the silence and enjoy nature in full. It cannot be explained it must be experienced.

The house is located by the sea with a view of the fjord. On the other side of the fjord is Kalsoy, where the last James Bond film ended. The 150-year-old Pershús has recently been renovated. It is perfect for couples and families with children. There is opportunity for activities. Quiet walks and hiking. The local å Storá is everyone's playground. Good opportunities to dip in the gorge natural harbor Gjógvin. (NEVER DIP ALONE). Or just enjoy life with the fantastic view from the hot tub.

Right infront of the house is the Northatlantic ocean. There are no neighbors. Ideal for someone looking for a quiet tranquil accommodation. The house was built in 2010 with an old traditional Faroese style. It has 1 bedrooms, a toilet, kitchen and a living room, all with a fantastic view.

Í Fjósinum Glæd dig til at bo i et af Færøernes ældste huse. I dette hus kan du nyde den helt særlige stemning, af hjemlig og hyggelig atmosfære. Her er skæve vinkler, lavt til loftet, og en noget stejl trappe op til loftet, men dog god at gå på, hvor 2 soveværelser og badeværelse er. I stueetagen er der gangen, stuen og køkkenet, som er nænsomt renoveret, for to år siden. Der er udsigt til søen og de høje fjelde fra vinduerne.

There are good conditions for fishing and fishing gear is available. There is free parking, Wi-Fi and cable TV.

Large apartment in Skála - 15 min from Tórshavn

Large, peaceful apartment in the middle of the Faroe Islands. Geographically central. The longest distance by car is approximately 1 hour's drive. 6 of the islands are connected by tunnels and bridges. It is about 15 min to Tórshavn through the new underwater tunnel. Quiet village by the sea. Nice view from the livingroom. You will love my home because of the peace, the view and the surroundings.

Gratis brug af kombi vaske/tørretumbler i lejligheden. Vi vil meget gerne hjælpe Jer, så I får en god oplevelse her på Færøerne. Vi respektere ikke fester og rygning inde. Ellers vil vi at du skal føle dig hjemme :)

The apartment has its own private entrance with 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, and 1 double sofabed in the livingroom, kitchen, workspace and bathroom. 10-15 minutes walk to the beach in Syðrugøta. 15-20 minutest walk to nearest grocery shop (Norðragøta)

Great location on the beach. Located in a peaceful area with sand/stone beach and private dock. On the beach, children can play and catch crabs. Old boathouse from the first in the 20th century, which has been converted into an apartment. Completly rebuilt in 2020. Boat and washer/dryer are in the basement (Neyst)
