Ride shares and taxis are recommended everywhere in New Orleans at night, and the fare from Maison Laharpe to the Quarter is under $10, 5-7 minutes. Bus routes are nearby, as are Blue Bike rentals. The location is close to the famous Treme neighborhood and is a convenient to walk to local restaurants and grocery stores on Esplanade Avenue, one of the most beautiful streets in the city. You can also take an inexpensive Uber or Lyft a mile north to City Park or a mile south to the French Quarter/Bywater or Downtown CBD/Warehouse District. Local city rental bikes are also available along Esplanade and are a great way to see the city. No smoking, parties, or pets. You will have access to your private courtyard and the entire suite. We will be available for most guest check-ins and welcome you to hang with us on our porch under the large oak tree with a cool beverage. There are so many wonderful places in this city and we enjoy making recommendations based on your interests.
