The Brookside retreat is improved and expanded, a full two bedroom, two full bath carriage house completely dedicated to the rental. A very quiet and tranquil setting nestled on the edge of the east side of town in historic Jim Thorpe. You can bike or walk to restaurants, the Lehigh River, Lehigh Gorge State Park, and local attractions. The downtown area is 1 mile from the property, but please note it will be up hill to return! Enjoy our cozy two bedroom rustic cabin that sits a few feet from a flowing creek, and a relaxing pond. The cabin was originally built as a one room hunting cabin with knotty pine walls, wood ceiling and large stone fireplace. The addition of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry converted the cabin into a comfortable home, while maintaining the original charm and character. The original hunting cabin space is now the great room, with the kitchen on one side and the family room on the other.
