The area has a lot of hiking and cycling routes or you can use it as a starting point to explore the south eastern part of the country with cities such as Arnhem, Nijmegen and ‘s Hertogenbosch. De Oude Glasfabriek vindt u in de populaire Nijmeegse wijk “Oost”. Het pand is gelegen aan een rustig pad waar u vooral de vogels hoort. Toch ligt het midden in de wijk. Binnen enkele minuten lopen heeft u ruime keuze aan gezellige cafés en restaurants. Het stadscentrum, de Waalkade, de Ooijpolder of de bossen zijn dichtbij. Ook de Radboud Universiteit en de Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) zijn met de fiets binnen enkele minuten bereikbaar.
