The Tiny (off grid) House on Wai Māhanga Farm

Your Air Conditioned accoms are a small Off Grid Tiny Home. It is situated in Taumārere just out of Kawakawa on SH11 on the way to Paihia on our working Regenerative Farm. Specifically built for couples to enjoy the privacy and beautiful farm views over green paddocks to the Cycleway and Vintage Railway. Still to be seen rising from the lagoon near our house is the causeway where the early settlers unloaded their ships, hence the name Causeway Road - which may well be one of the oldest roads in New Zealand.

Fully self contained, quiet and private yet located close to beach, boat ramp, supermarket and cafes. Newly built and cozy with plenty of outdoor flow. The shower although private it is outside. May not suit everyone. There are bikes and a touring kayak. At high tide there is access to the Waitangi river and plenty enough time to paddle to Haruru falls or Paihia and back.
