There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 cabin with kitchenette and couch and 1 cabin with toilet and shower...Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Grab a bean bag and a book,sit in the bush or on the bush edge and allow nature to nurse you and relax.

Self-contained Studio in the corner of our yard.

This studio is tucked away in the corner of the property a long deck separates it from the house. It has 2 x beds, 1 single and 1 x king single, a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a kettle with tea/coffee available, a toaster, a fridge and a microwave. It's a small no frills space that is tidy, quiet with a lovely rural view from the window. It has no WIFI or TV(can you survive!) Parking is close by and safe but you do have to walk about 30m across lawn to access it. Uncovered.

Waihi and Waihi Beach are a 15 minute drive away, and it is a 35 minute drive to Tauranga. You also have the opportunity to pushbike or walk some popular tracks in this area, which are a short drive away. This cabin has lovely rural views, so it’s a perfect 1 or 2 night getaway to enjoy some R & R! And remember "You can check out any time you like, but you may never want to leave!"

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.

The comfortable bed has quality linen. 4kms along the road is the Coromandel Forest Park, DOC Centre, the superb Pinnacles walk, and great swimming holes. Enjoy the starry nights.
