In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. Galena Getaway

Peaceful, pet-friendly ($50 fee per reservation) vacation home in the Galena Territory. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two living rooms, 2 wood fireplaces, screened in porch, upper level porch, deck, firepit, access to owner's club (pool, exercise room and game room), marina and 24 miles of hiking trails. Sleeps up to ten people. (Please ensure your guest count is accurate when you make your reservation. The guest count can be updated if needed. Inaccurate reservations will be charged accordingly. )

2 Bedroom Lakefront Cabin W/ Deck, Boats & Dock

Welcome to our charming home on the lake. Here you will find 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. It sits directly in front of Lake Lacoma in East Dubuque, Il and is a short drive to Galena, IL and Dubuque, IA. The 2 private bedrooms along with the 2 couches sleeps up to six. On site we have canoes and lifejackets for you to enjoy. There is a large deck overlooking the lake and lots of parking. Washer & Dryer. Recently Built Dock perfect for fishing. In the winter Ice Fishing is a must. Fire pit with seating.

Take a step back in time in this 1840s era home! Newly renovated with an eye to maintaining it's vintage charm, this house fits right into Galena's historic character. Grab your morning coffee on the side porch swing. Take the 10 min walk to Main Street for shopping and lunch. Relax in the light filled living room or fully stocked kitchen. Or, enjoy front porch rockers. Be sure to keep an eye out for some historic surprises in the house. NOTE: There are a lot of stairs to the side porch entry.

Relax in the outdoor hot tub under the stars, explore private forest trails, gather around the fire pit,  and enjoy watching our free-range goats, ducks and chickens. note that our home is across the driveway, so you may occasionally see us caring for the animals, but your cabin and outdoor space are all your own and we respect the privacy of all our guests. Our goal is to provide a comfortable relaxing stay for you!🌿

Ulysses Suites has just been completed inside the historic J. G. Schmohl building in the heart of downtown Galena, located at 213-217 S. Main Street. The location is walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. We have 7 suites and a beautiful lobby that are modern and luxurious, with lots of historical character and texture as a nod to its previous existence as the Grant Hotel from 1895 to 1933. Suite 202 is a gorgeous studio with a huge window seat looking over Main Street.

Grab your loved one or friend and surround yourself in nature, while soaking in the hot tub on the floating patio, or in the beautiful tub inside. Relax in the king size bed thats in front of one of the two fireplaces. The cabin has everything you need, including a small kitchen. This floating oasis is located at Millennium Marina.

Unplug and get back to nature

The log cabin was built as a place to unwind, relax, and truly unplug. Nestled among 15 acres of rolling hills, the cabin can serve as a place to hunker down and read three novels, or a home base for hiking, cycling and putting the nature back in your life. Be advised, there is NO television and that’s for good reason. Cook, drink, eat, play, relax and refresh yourself. Wake up to the songs of birds and listen to the owls at night while you’re warming yourself around a bonfire.
