Milton Cottage in Glen Lyon

At Milton Cottage we aim to offer guests a cosy retreat to our croft where they can come and unwind in Glenlyon, Scotland’s longest and most beautiful glen. For hill walking, Ben Lawers and 12 munros are within a 6 mile radius. If you like fishing, salmon and trout fishing can be arranged. On request, we offer a three-course dinner. It's all homemade and we regularly cook vegetarian dishes, using our own or local produce where possible. The cottage has reliable WIFI broadband.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Approximately 20 minutes from the capital Portree, it enjoys stunning views of the Cuillins and the nearby Isle of Raasay. Our cottage is located right next to The Old Inn which serves great home cooked meals and a good variety of hot and cold drinks including a wide range of local ales and spirits. The inn has weekly live music too with a mix of traditional Scottish sessions and other genres.

Our beautiful studio with spacious Hot Tub is close to Edinburgh Airport and only 5 miles from the West End. Perfect for enjoying all that Edinburgh offers, but with the peace and quiet of a rural location. Own transport is recommended but public transport is nearby so leaving the car and hopping a bus/tram into town is easy. Plenty outdoor stuff close to hand if you don`t want to go too far.
