Drummuir Castle's Gate Lodge was built in 1848 at the end of the Castle Drive and built in the Victorian Gothic style to replicate the Castle beyond. The Lodge sleeps two in a comfortable King Sized bed, with separate shower room, an open plan sitting and dining room and a small kitchen. Situated around half a mile from the village of Drummuir with Dufftown around 5 miles and Keith 7 miles.

Our mile of private access road begins at the A96 (main road from Aberdeen/Inverness route) at Huntly, so is ideally placed for those seeking a central location for castle or whisky trails; a short trip to visit either the coastal area or Cairngorm National Park; or just enjoying a relaxing break.

The Tin Shed is only a short drive to the Moray coast with its stunning beaches. Castles, great walks and over 40 whisky distilleries within 30 minutes drive. The local area is also an amazing place to watch wildlife with red squirrels, red deer, pine martens, osprey and dolphins a common sight.
