The house is minutes away from a popular coffee shop,The Clucking Hen, numerous hiking trails and a beautiful beach and fishing wharf. There you can purchase lobster and crab straight off the boats when in season. A number of craft shops are close-by along with a pizza shop. The house has a unique nautical décor. The Hummingbird Pod is a pet-friendly sleeping pod with a double bed and small pull out for 2 kids or 1 adult. This cabin is a 5-7 minute walk from the main parking lot, up-hill - which is why is has some of the best views! The Cookhouse is very closeby with Wi-Fi, basic staples like coffee & tea, everything you need to cook and store your food, and board games. The Washhouse is also closeby, with heated eco-friendly bathrooms and showers. Free access to wood-fired sauna and snowshoes!

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect.
