The cabin is an ideal location to base your hiking adventure, or simply come to enjoy some time away from the city while exploring the area's many attractions. Relax after a long day on the trail with a hot sauna or a meal on the deck and enjoy the wilderness setting, often visited by local wildlife. High speed WiFi is available for those that need to stay connected during their stay.

Welcome to The Sunset Cottage, a newly renovated and professionally designed 4 Bedroom / 2 Bath home designed for families in mind. Located in a quiet neighborhood just blocks away from downtown Port Angeles, guests will enjoy easy access to Hurricane Ridge, Black Ball Ferry, Olympic National Park, grocery stores and plenty of restaurants. Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Just a short drive to Sequim's shops,hiking trails and near Olympic National Park, the perfect blend of rustic charm and convenience for your getaway.

Our little place is good for couples and solo adventurers. **Please note that our friendly Golden Retriever Mason goes into the backyard.**

The Secret Garden

We are on the edge of town, but feels like miles away. This sweet cabin is peaceful and charming, surrounded with gardens, fruit trees and wildlife. Although we are within the city limits, you'll feel completely removed from the hubbub of daily life, with plenty of stores and restaurants near by. The Olympic Discovery trail runs very close by, making it easy to take a walk or bike ride. During the summer, feel free to pick a few raspberries, figs, peaches, apples, pears and even kiwis!

The Bit & Bridle Cabin bids you welcome!

The Bit & Bridle Cabin has that out-in-the-country feel, yet it is only minutes from Oak Harbor's town center. This small 17 acres farm provides Donna's horses room to play and live and Stan's Autobody & Paint Shop a place to thrive. Other buildings besides the Cabin and the owners' house are a covered riding arena, Stan Wingate's shop, a "Fowl Manor" and run, and a small family residence. Ten beautiful old apple trees are scattered around. The Cabin is next to one of the apple orchards.

Sunrise and sunset paint the sky in hues of gold and indigo, creating a mesmerizing canvas that changes with each passing moment.

A Tiny House in the Forest

Explore the Olympic Peninsula while staying in our bijoux tiny house nestled in the lush rain forest at Millie's Gulch. Sip your coffee (or wine!) listening to chattering birds and frogs. Grill a steak on the BBQ, light a fire in the pit and watch the stars peak out from behind the forest canopy. Read, relax, drive around to the local port towns or just do nothing - that's how we planned it. Small pets welcome - but please check with us before booking.
