Den Hagen Guest Farm - The Cobblers

The cobblers is built from local river stone and adjoins the shared lounge and games room for easy access. The Cobblers is a studio type accommodation which combines the living and bedroom area in one open plan space. There is a separate area for the kitchen and bathroom. It has wooden flooring and a Queen Anne fireplace for those chilly evenings often experienced in Rhodes. The side veranda area has breath taking view of the Carlisle Hoek valley. Free access to hikes and picnic spots.

Hillmoor Stone Cottage

The Stone Cottage Guest House, built in 1896 and recently restored is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We offer peace, tranquility, silence, stargazing, bird watching, walking, hiking, cycling, board games, reading and just relaxing. Wifi is available and TV on request. Although we are self-catering, we do offer a variety of home grown farm produce and meals which can be ordered in advance.

Sheeprun Farmstay

Sheeprun Farmstay is ideal for family holidays, weekend getaways or overnight stops. Bring your mountain bikes or hike the surrounding mountains, view some historical Bushman paintings. The Pot River runs through the farm. Ideal for tubing and swimming and also supports a very healthy stock of wild rainbow trout. The farm is conveniently situated close to some of the highest altitude gravel passes of the Eastern Cape Highlands which are any 4x4 enthusiast or motorbiker's dream.

Reedsdell Country Guest Farm

We welcome you to our private sanctuary - our delightful Stable cottage on the farm Reedsdell, nestling below the sheer cliffs of the majestic peaks of the Southern Drakensberg - an awe-inspiring landscape with many wildflowers and a variety of birdlife & small wildlife. Enjoy the tranquility of nature or the challenging mountainous terrain. Hiking, biking, 4x4ing, fishing, walking and skiing. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).

Spacious Burgersdorp self-catering accommodation.

RHOOM has two spacious self-catering suite that overlooks a garden and forest. The historic house was built in 1902 lined with high ceiling, big windows, and original origin pine wooden floors. Each room is equipped with a queen size bed, a seating area and  kitchenette with own microwave, washing up area and bar fridge. Single beds can be added for a family with kids. The bathroom is private and has a generous shower.  The rooms has free wifi and flat screen tv.

Southfield Cottage

Our peaceful Karoo farm is the perfect place to stop over, relax and be refreshed on your journey. Our neat yet cozy self-contained cottage is perfect for singles, couples or families with children. Situated adjacent to our home, the cottage has its own entrance and patio overlooking the garden and pastures. The garden is shared with our family, so expect some activity of free-range children and pets! Our farm is accessed by 7km of dirt road.

Farmers Cottage Bethulie

The beautiful decorated luxury farm style cottage is an open plan self catering unit complete with fire place, a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed, bathroom with shower. A large stoep with breathtaking views, private garden and access to the pool at the main guesthouse, Karoo Pandok. It is also pet friendly, fully fenced but we do charge a fee of R75.00 extra per pet which is payable on arrival. Please discuss with your host.

Doringvygie

Doringvygie at Alandale Farm in the Eastern Karoo near Middelburg (Eastern Cape) is set on a working sheep and cattle farm. The self-catering cottage accommodates five guests in three rooms. Enjoy views from the east-facing stoep or Karoo sunsets from the west-facing one. Guests can join farm activities like sheep shearing, cattle and sheep drafting, explore walking and bike trails, or swim in a farm dam.

The chalet is located on our farm, Kleinzuurfontein, which is a fifteen minute drive (13.2km) from Springfontein (N1). With your stay you will experience nature at its best- with beautiful sunsets, starry skies and farm animals grazing on the fields surrounding the farm.
