Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

Our rustic farmhouse is located on a horse ranch and rescue. Your stay with us helps provide care and training for 50 horses each year. The home is a duplex, both sides can be rented together when available. This side has 1 bathroom with an antique bear claw soaking tub w/shower conversion. The bedroom has a queen bed & there is a futon in the living area. The updated kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. After dinner, relax out by the firepit & enjoy overlooking our farm.

The bed and living area are shared space as this is a studio. The cottage is located behind main residence with self check in and check out ease. Cute cabin located on a working farm. Enjoy the horses and cows grazing right outside. Comfortable 2 bedrooms with a sleeping loft for the kids (horizontal only for adults). Hosts live on the same property so we will usually be available if you need anything during your stay. We prefer a low-distraction lifestyle, but a TV is available on request. Limited outdoor space available.
