Farmstay - 'Stirling House'

Home & Hound Stirling house is a 117sqm double brick 2 bedroom chalet accomodation. Situated on a small farm with opportunity to hand feed the goats, ponies, collect eggs from the chickens, and generally relax in the quiet countryside. This chalet has a large bedroom with queen bed, and a second large bedroom with 3 single beds. A combined bathroom and laundry with washing machine, and a fully self contained kitchen. Dog friendly with a secure yard so you can leave your pet in for day trips.

The Mountain View Cottage is a peaceful family base beside the Porongurup National Park, where private access to the adjoining park and walking trails begins right from the front door. Spend your days roaming forest paths, spotting kangaroos & birdlife, swimming in the dam, playing under big skies or simply slowing down into the quiet. Then come home to mountain views, a warm fire and a cottage that feels easy to sink into.

River’s End Retreat

For couples wanting a romantic escape. Relax and unwind in this bespoke Tiny House overlooking the Kalgan River. Located on 30ac we are a small working farm. Sheep, alpacas and horses graze the paddocks and you may even get a visit from one of our pet kangaroos. From the deck you can listen to abundant bird life and fish rising in the river while enjoying a glass of local wine next to the fire. Close to walk trails, river and beaches come and explore all this amazing region has to offer.

A quiet place, on a bush block, next to the National Park. The guest suite is part of our home & is suitable for singles or couples. The Granite Skywalk & other tracks are not far away. There are local food outlets & winery's that are open on limited days. Mount Barker is 25 klm away & a good place for food & fuel. Telstra has the best coverage here & Internet and television is via satillite. Bluff Knoll & Albany are 40 klm away, with no services inbetween. We can provide milk, on request.

In town, off grid, healthy stay.

Separate entrance from hosts. Only filtered rain water (including showers), non chemical soaps, washing materials, off grid (battery) power, so no failures, organic breakfast foods. No microwave oven but have an electric oven, fry pan & rice/porridge cooker & wifi is available. Large TV with sporting and movie channels available. We have a renovated home, over 100 yrs old, with real character. Please be careful with water usage as we have only rain water, but sufficient for the whole year.

This romantic hideout has two roomy bedrooms, each with its own rainwater shower ensuite, a private indoor spa for relaxation, a gourmet kitchen, a warm and inviting lounge, complete with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings together. Lights Cottage is a secluded, newly renovated heritage cottage located on Lights Beach Farm. Wake up in the mornings surrounded by cattle, kangaroos, and native birds. Then pack your cup, walk across the road to Monkey Rock and have your morning sunrise coffee overlooking Lights Beach, Ocean Beach, and William Bay. Explore 300 acres of farmland and walk the Bibbulmun Track, which conveniently runs through the property and down to the back beach cliffline.
