Aboyne Cottage—Peaceful Oasis in Quiet Cul-De-Sac

Pluck lemons from the tree and pick herbs from the planters for use in a tasty dish to enjoy in the cool and shaded courtyard. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

The house is located in Cape Town's prestigious Bishopscourt neighbourhood with shops, restaurants, the V&A waterfront, and beaches just a short drive away. Visit Constantia Valley’s award-winning vineyards, like Eagles' Nest or Beau Constantia. An available Uber is never more than 5 mins away, but if you have rented a car you can park it in our secluded road or within the property.

This sunny, private garden flat is separate to the house with it's own entrance and off-street parking. There is an enclosed paved garden with a Webber BBQ. We are close to major highways, a stone's throw away from the Kenilworth Race Course and 2kms away from a vibrant village with restaurants and pubs. You will find a convenience store, hair dresser and coffee shop 200 meters away. For load shedding backup, we have an UPS for the WIFI, a gas cooker and rechargeable light bulbs and light.

Our bright and airy studio is conveniently situated in Lynfrae, Claremont with a private separate entrance. An ideal location for business or pleasure. Secure off street parking behind an automatic gate. There is a comfortable queen size bed, lots of cupboard space and a relaxing area to watch TV in comfort from the couch. The kitchenette is well equipped, and the en-suite bathroom with shower completes the studio. French doors open onto a private patio and garden. Wi fi and DSTV premium.

Meadowridge and Constantia Shopping Centres are close by. Also in easy access are restaurants churches, gyms, running trails and beaches. Secure parking for average size vehicle behind automated gate.Unfortunately no pets allowed as I have two dogs.
