Tickfaw State Park is upriver and there are four night clubs that play live music, with pier docking, & dining. Lake Maurepas is 14 miles down river. Manchac Middendorf 20 miles down river. Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

Resting on 15 acres, come relax and feel tucked away in this little guest cabin. Situated on a mini farm with chickens, bunnies, and mini Scottish Highland cows. The cabin is stocked with coffee, robes, and disposable slippers to make it feel like home away from home. Guests are welcome to any fresh garden fruits or free range yard eggs while staying on the property. We have put some extra thought into the little details to help make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.

We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.
