Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. The location is brilliant, overlooking Acacia Bay’s popular swimming and kayaking bay. Walk to the water in two minutes. The boat ramp is a short two min drive and we are seven minutes by car to Taupo township. The perfect spot for your next break. The views are amazing! A special Kiwi experience!

A Quiet, peaceful hideaway by the Waikato river

Fully self-contained 2 bedroom unit complete with wood burner (Wood Burner available from May to September only) or electric heater for those brisk Taupo winters. Peaceful sheltered surroundings, relaxing environment, all you need for a great getaway. There are views of the Waikato River from the bedroom window and walking/bike tracks nearby that lead to Spa Park where the adventure begins. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully BEFORE booking to make sure our unit is adequate for your need.

Peace and Tranquility Close to Town

We invite you to stay in our spacious four-bedroom home, on a sunny and private one acre section, with great outdoor entertaining and barbecue areas just a ten minute drive from Taupo. Bedrooms 1-3 each have queen size-beds, while bedroom 4 has a king-size bed and king single with a single trundler bed beneath. A roll-away bed and port-a-cot (crib) are available on request. Free WIFI and Sky sports channels, and an excellent sound bar for music which can be connected to via Bluetooth.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

The lake and hot water beach are just a 10-minute walk away, offering endless exploration opportunities.
