A jewel box of a Fort house, with a courtyard at its heart, a flowery roof terrace overlooking the Indian ocean at its head and a walled garden as it’s back gate. This 18th Century Dutch merchant's house is stylishly presented and with many of the original architectural features restored, Asian antiques and the owners passion for turquoise. The garden gate leads onto the Fort Ramparts , the lighthouse and beach below. The house is solar powered and not affected by power cuts.

Villa Lankari is our little paradise, surrounded by cinnamon plantations and rice fields—a peaceful retreat in nature. We’ve lovingly renovated it to make it cozy and comfortable, so you can unwind and enjoy Sri Lanka’s beauty.
