This modern cottage is part of Piesta Kuusikaru farm, our family home, set on the bank of Pärnu river in Soomaa region in western/central Estonia. The cottage is a bright and spacious 2-storey building, designed in nordic style, with wood-burning sauna. Perfect for one family or close friends; ideal for 2 persons, fine for 4 plus an infant sleeping in baby cot. We live onsite and will be happy to show you around the farm including organic apple orchard and the "slow food" production facility.

A place with fascinating history - over 90 years old former schoolhouse surrounded with nature. Now here is a basecamp for hikers and a vacation place for families and groups of friends. Our family lives in one part of the house, separately from guests. And we take only one booking at a time. Since our main activity is to arrange canoe trips and nature hikes - we are glad to organize you a canoe trip and introduce you local hiking trails, forests, bogs and sight-seeings.

Our house can accommodate up to 4 guests, featuring a double bed on the loft and a sofa bed in the living room. We have everything you need for a memorable holiday! Kick back and relax in this calm, recently finished (August 2022) cozy Saunahouse with an outdoor patio and eating area near Lake Viljandi. Saunahouse is located in a private yard and is perfect for 2 people, though an extra is possible. As the sauna is located in a private yard, there will be two extremely friendly Leonbergers (see the picture at the end) freely roaming around yard and maybe looking for belly-rubs or two, which is something to be considered.

See 2-toaline korter asub Viljandi vanalinnas esimesel korrusel, 5-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel Viljandi järvest. Lähim pood asub 400 meetri kaugusel. Viljandi lossivaremed on 10-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Majas on kokku 4 korterit ja peab arvestama ka naabritega. Maja taga on aed, grillinurk ja puhkenurk mis on ühiskasutuses. Korter mahutab 3 külalist (1 lahtikäiv lisavoodi). Parkimine hoovis tasuta. Koduloomad on oodatud.

You’ll have plenty to enjoy at this historic place in a picturesque setting. The barn is built in 1892 and the bedroom still carries its historic feel with the hand cut lodges and many well preserved details like the original ceiling. Most of the materials are re-used, which adds to the feeling of the space. A grand romantic view over the fields will give a feeling of remoteness and escaping everyday.

This compact, all-comfort cottage is located on the shores of a small waterfront in Kuiaru, Pärnu county, by the road Pärnu-Rakvere-Sõmeru. Pärnu’s city line is a 15-minute drive away. The house is located on the same property as our family home, but it is still private and conveniently accessible. The nearest grocery stores and petrol station are located in Selja (4 min) and Sindi (9 min).
