Ranch Lodge For Nature Lovers

This guest lodge at Coyote Bill's Ranch is a nature lover's delight . Relax and watch the horses in the pasture, there are many different birds in the area such as hawks, herons, loons, osprey and even an occasional eagle. Fish for trout in the nearby streams Great hiking and swimming near by as well. The space sleeps four, family style, with 2 single beds and a full sized bed. The bedroom is on the second floor so there is a set of stairs to the second floor, The cost per night includes 2 adults and up to two to three children and pet, or two adults only there is an additional charge of $20 for each additional adult which applies to overnight guests as well. The bunkhouse features one full bath with tub and shower and a kitchenette with microwave, two burner hot plate and under the counter fridge. The bunkhouse has a beautiful view of the horse pastures surrounding the Ranch, a fire pit, a place to bar-b-que, and lots of space to explore. Several wonderful restaurants, including the delicious Lunchbox, Toonies, and the innovative __Short's Brewery__ are nearby. The sparkling Cedar River, a designated Blue Ribbon Trout Stream, is a short walk away. The ranch features five Arabian horses, The pond and stream at the Ranch is home to many species of Native Birds. Guests are welcome to bring their dogs for no additional fee. The ranch sits one mile from downtown Bellaire, home to world famous Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain resorts. Jack Niclaus' The Legend Golf Course and The Weiskoff-designed Golf course are both five minutes away. Coyote Bill's Ranch is also one mile from the rustic Antrim County Airport. Boats, kayaks, and mountain bikes can all be rented in Bellaire. Or, take a short drive to the beautiful Jordan River for canoeing, kayaking and more trout fishing. Voted the third most beautiful lake in the world by National Geographic, Torch Lake is a quick 15 minutes drive. This lake is home to pristine waters for boating, and other water fun. Boyne City, Gaylord, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey and Mackinaw City are all easily accessible for a day's adventure. Come stay on our ranch and experience good old- fashioned hospitality. A winding two-track through the woods delivers you to our cozy 200sq ft yurt located on 10 acres outside of quaint Alden, MI. 5 minute drive to Torch. 15 min. to Bellaire/Short’s! Turn on your favorite camp tunes, unplug, read, make art with the yurt art supplies, do a puzzle, bask on the porch, lounge in the hammocks,cook dinner over the fire, head to Alden for breakfast at the Muffin Tin, take a dip in Torch…we’ll tell you a great spot to jump in! Bunk bed is full size lower, twin upper.

Private Hot Tub Northern Tiny Home Retreat

Get cozy and settle into this rustic yet refined space. This is a brand new, finished in June 2023 tiny home, on the same property as our personal home. It has all the comforts of a full size home, including, radiant heated floors, A/C, vaulted ceilings in the bedroom, two burner gas stove and a full size fridge. There is a private fenced in outdoor courtyard, with private hot tub, fire place and propane grill. As well as its own driveway with plenty of room too park a boat if you'd like.

The Bear Cub Aframe

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

The House on the Hill

This house is located outside Alden. It sits on 35 acres and is 1/4 of a mile from the road. The location is rural, secluded and quiet. There is ample parking for boats and recreational vehicles. The view from the deck is spectacular, you can see out over 10 miles. It's private and has a wide wraparound deck, with a covered area at the front. It's perfect for grilling, relaxing and watching the sky after a day out. The kitchen is open and provides a lot of space for food preparation.

This 1 bedroom, 2 bed, 1 bath 605 sq. ft. condo sleeps 4 and is located in Summit Village. The condo features a full kitchen, wood burning fireplace, queen sleeper sofa, and private deck for stunning Lake Bellaire sunsets. Your stay includes access to the resort’s multiple indoor and outdoor pools and the indoor hot tub. Our condo is a short walk to the Summit Golf Course, Shanty Town and the Lakeview Restaurant. Staying here means you're right in the heart of Shanty Creek Resort!

The Twig, near Lake Bellaire

This cottage is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The Twig is a tiny, one-bedroom, 480-square foot cottage on property near Lake Bellaire. Living room/kitchen down, bedroom/bath up. Sofa bed in living room. Very private and an easy 5-minute walk to the lake. The cottage, again, is tiny, and best suited for a single person, a couple, or a couple with children. Two couples might find it awkward. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $20. There is a two-night minimum stay.

Located seven miles from Mancelona, this woodsy retreat provides easy access to hiking, fishing, canoeing, and skiing. Shorts Brewery, and their famous craft beer, is a fifteen minute drive to downtown Bellaire. Traverse City and Petoskey are just forty-five minutes away. Wander the gardens that are part of the small turn-of-the-century farm, or just enjoy the quiet of the north woods.
