This pond-side cottage is a peaceful place to relax and unwind. Sit on the enclosed porch and watch the water or enjoy the front porch swing where you can listen to the birds and frogs. We are 12 min. from downtown Sumter and 20 min from Shaw AFB. Local points of interest are Swan Lake Iris Gardens and Poinsett State Park. It is only 2 hours to Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC & 3 hrs to the mtns. While it is conveniently located, this cottage offers a quiet place to put your feet up and rest.

A cozy lakefront cottage made by family, for family. This was our parents home away from home, their favorite getaway. Now that they're gone, we want to share what they enjoyed. Traditionally constructed lake cabin with all the comforts of home. Large partially covered deck, large pier for fishing, plenty of room to bring your boat, canoes, or kayaks. Extremely close proximity to large landings where national fishing tournaments are held on Lake Marion. Prime hunting, near great hunting clubs.

We purchased our lake home, built in 1980, in 2009 and began renovation. We updated the kitchen and baths, plus new carpet, tile, windows, appliances, and a complete update to the exterior with new landscaping. We also replaced the dock and the seawall.
