Modern log villa on the beach, no light pollution

An escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life awaits you in our idyllic tupa-sauna on the shore of Muonionjoki. This is my own design, self built. The cozy and traditional log cabin offers a unique vacation in the lap of nature. There is no disturbing city lights or sounds. Enjoy complete silence Enjoy the gentle steams in the wooden sauna and a refreshing swim directly in the river. You can see the northern lights right from the terrace or in bed. In the fall even swim as they flare.

Brand-new cabin by the forest

Welcome to our brand-new cabin! The cabin is located on the edge of our yard, offering peace and privary eventhough Rovaniemi city center is still only 10 minutes drive away (7 km) and Santa Claus Village, airport and railway station are about 15min drive away (10km). Free parking right next to the cabin. Cross country skiing tracks are about 500m and skiing slopes and golf course are about 4km away. We can accommodate up to 3 people: 2 in double bed/single beds + 1 on a mattress or baby bed.

Vanha-Seppälä

Vuonna 1965 rakennettu talo (3 huonetta, keittiö, sauna, wc) sijaitsee Suomen Lapissa Kittilän luonnonläheisessä ja rauhallisessa Kaukosen kylässä. Kaukosessa on tunnettu Särestöniemen taidemuseo. Villa Magiassa voi ihailla keramiikkaa, uniikkiasuja, koruja. Kesäkuun alussa Kaukosessa on Hiljaisuus-festivaali. Yllästuntunturin lähellä Lainiolla on Snow Village, lumikylä ja -hotelli. Matkaa kohteesta on Levitunturille 40 km (35 min), Yllästunturille 26 km ja Lumikylä Snow Villageen 20 km.

Villa Magia Sauna Cottage

Villa Magia is situated in Kaukonen village on the banks of the river Ounasjoki. Sauna Cottage as the other log buildings in the courtyard are from the late 19th century. Sauna is recently renovated to suit more modern comforts. The accommodation includes a convertible sofa, a loft bed, a fridge, a microwave oven, a water cooker, a coffee maker, plates, cups and cutlery. But there is no proper kitchen! And in the Sauna Cottage there is a Finnish sauna, of course with a shower and a toilet.

Villa Wanha Hamina

Iin historiallisessa Wanhassa Haminassa omakotitalon pihapiirissä oleva asunto on tunnelmallinen pysähdyspaikka n. 500m nelostiestä. Iijoki on kivenheiton päässä, vilauksen voi nähdä jopa ikkunasta. Päärakennuksessa asuu kolmihenkinen perhe. Iin kunta on tunnettu kulttuurista ja taiteesta ja majoittaja Minna osaa halutessanne kertoa Iin historiasta, nähtävyyksistä ja kulttuurista. Iin palvelut ovat lähellä ja Ouluun 30min ajomatka. Asunto on kauttaaltaan remontoitu keväällä 2024.

Villa Kaltio: cabin with traditional Finnish sauna

Lapissa Äkäslompolon kylän keskustassa sijaitseva saunallinen pieni vanhan porojen polun varrella oleva mökkimme on oiva kohde yhdelle tai kahdelle hengelle. Mökin saunassa saat nauttia perinteisen puulämmitteisen saunan löylyistä. Kaikki kylän palvelut ovat kävellen tavoitettavissa ja bussit lentokentälle tai juna-asemalle lähtevät parin sadan metrin päästä läheisen hotellin pihalta. Voit myös varata meiltä erikseen aamiaisen, joka tarjoillaan päärakennuksessa. Tervetuloa!

Uniikki mökkikohde Kemijärven rannalla

Tarjoamme mökkimme yhteydessä majoitusta upean Kemijärven rannalla. Majoituksen hintaan sisältyy nukkuma-aitan, erillisen keittiömökin sekä saunan käyttö ja ulko-WC. Mökki sijaitsee 12 km Kemijärven keskustasta. Hirsiaitassa vuoteet kahdelle. Sähköt+lämmitys. Hyvin varusteltu keittiö. Ei juoksevaa vettä. Isäntäväki huolehtii juomaveden keittiöön. Kaminatakka. Peseytyminen saunassa, käyttövuoroista sovitaan isäntäväen kanssa. Isäntäväki käyttää paikan muita rakennuksia.

Cozy sauna cottage in Lapland

Tunnelmallinen saunamökki (22m²) maaseudulla. Irtaudu arjesta, nauti rauhasta ja mökistä, joka sijaitsee talomme pihapiirissä, kuitenkin täysin omassa rauhassaan. Mukava 160 cm leveä sänky tarjoaa tilaa kahdelle aikuiselle. Lämmitä oma puusauna, rentoudu terassilla tai nuotion ääressä laavulla. Ihaile tähtitaivasta tai revontulia kaukana kaupungin valoista. Talviaamuna voit kävellä kauniilla lumisilla metsäpoluilla, kuunnella luonnon hiljaisuutta ja hengittää raikasta ilmaa.

Welcome to stay on our local reindeer farm. The ensuite guesthouse is located in our courtyard by the beautiful (Raudanjoki) riverbank. Forrest starts just outside the premises so leave the noise and lights of the city behind and come to enjoy the peace and quiet. Some of our reindeers live by the courtyard, we have winter walking track nearby forest and a perfect location for spotting the northern lights.
