Pretty Converted Barn with Private Sun Terrace and Garden

Very pretty converted barn in the heart of Kent. Completely private and self-contained providing you the ability to easily enjoy a socially distanced holiday. Take a long soak in our freestanding tub in the master bedroom; curl up on the super comfy sofa and indulge in our huge DVD collection; delve into the board game basket; enjoy the lovely bright living space; or cook up a storm in the well stocked kitchen. Wander through the lovely gardens and fields, or catch some rays on your very own sun terrace. For more images and recommendations check us out on instagram @the_oldbarn. You enjoy the whole cottage to yourselves - with your own front door so you can come and go as you please. There's free and very quick wifi accessible throughout. The large kitchen is equipped with most of the implements you'll need for your stay, including an oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. The contents of the welcome hamper varies seasonally, but always includes fresh bread, butter, milk and lots of other delicious bits. The cupboards are stocked with cereals, tea, coffee, spreads and basic condiments. There's a big open plan dining and living space. With a super comfy sofa (please keep the dogs off though!), DVD player (with lots of things to watch) and free-sat TV (over 200 TV channels). There is a toddler high chair in the dining area but if you require one suitable for a younger child please ask and we will do our best to accommodate. There are two big kingsize double bedrooms, with an en-suite bathroom (WC, sink and shower) in both. The bigger bedroom also has a freestanding bath within the room for a luxurious soak. Towels, cosy robes and bubble bath provided. There's a lovely garden which you're welcome to enjoy during your stay (as is your dog), complete with a table and chairs to eat outside if the weather allows! If you do bring your dog however please pick up after them! You enjoy the whole cottage to yourself - with your own front door and key so you can come and go as you please. I'm very responsive to airbnb messages and texts, so do contact me on either with any questions. I'll always be in touch prior to your arrival to make sure you're clear on check in process and directions. We'll be there regularly during your stay for anything you need and recommendations, but there's also a folder full of information in the cottage. The Old Barn is situated in the lovely village of Great Chart with two fantastic pubs just a minutes walk away. It's surrounded by wonderful countryside, historic buildings, great shopping, brilliant beaches, great places to eat & vineyards aplenty. Great Chart is less than 10 minutes drive from Ashford International Train Station where there’s usually plenty of taxis available. Trains leave approximately every half an hour to and from London St Pancras and take just 37 minutes (there are slower trains to other London stations too). You can also board a train at Ashford to Paris, which takes only 2 hours. The village is 10 minutes from the M20, there is parking for one car at the cottage, and plenty more free parking on the Street. We are also 30 minutes drive to Folkestone which is just a 35 minute channel crossing to Calais, and 45 minutes to Dover where the ferry departs for there also, so the perfect location if you’re breaking up the drive to France! There is free and very quick wifi available throughout the property. Our standard check in time is anytime after 4pm, and check out is by 10am on the day you leave. If you'd like to check in earlier or check out later, this is sometimes possible, but there is an additional fee of £10 per check in/out which is payable in cash on arrival. Sadly we can't always offer early check in or late check out, so please contact me to confirm availability. All early check ins or late check outs have to be agreed with me prior to arrival. Charming historic cottage in the North Kent Downs

Situated in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this 18th century cottage offers a relaxing and comfortable stay with its own private garden. The Kent coast is easily accessible by car (Deal, Folkestone, Hythe & Dungeness) as is the historic town of Canterbury. The house is perfectly located for a short break from London (15-minute taxi from Ashford International) or a stopover when travelling to or from the Continent with the Eurotunnel and Dover Port within 30 minutes drive.

Old Fire Station in central Benenden village, Kent

Nestling in the idyllic Weald of Kent countryside, the Old Fire Station is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in the centre of historic Benenden village. The spacious, self-contained accommodation sleeps four, with a separate bedroom with super kingsize bed and sitting room with two single sofa beds. The listed former village fire station is within walking distance of The Oak Barn wedding venue and Benenden School, or a short drive to Benenden Hospital and the gardens of Sissinghurst Castle.

Idyllic 2- Bedroom barn with amazing views

Spacious barn conversion with views of the countryside. The Barn is an ideal location to use as a base for visiting the many places of interest or for a relaxing holiday. There are many National Trust properties within a small radius together with historic gardens and local vineyards. Tenterden and Rye are a short drive and Camber Sands, with its sandy beach, is a must. There are a number of local pubs which serve food, The White Hart within a few minutes walk, and many others not far away.

A picturesque, newly converted Coach House in the small village of Badlesmere, high on the North Kent Downs. Set amongst rolling hills and wooded valleys, this striking conversion offers delightful accommodation, a south facing patio and use of a tennis court. Close to the market town of Faversham and the historic city of Canterbury, as well as Leeds Castle and fashionable Whitstable, it is an idyllic holiday spot or stopover on route to the continent, perfect for families or a romantic break.

Twitchers Cottage at Broomfield Barn is a beautifully presented converted in 2020, one bedroom cottage. Located on the edge of Oare marshes that is an important wetland reserve with a range of bird species. This area is popular with bird watches, walkers, wildlife photographers and cyclists or anyone who wants a relaxing break away surrounded by open countryside. There is plenty to do throughout the year wether you want coast, town or countryside it’s all in easy reach for your enjoyment.

Our Idyllic cottage which is set in the country side overlooking the north downs, which offers two guest accommodation. It is separate from the main family home which offers a cosy/secluded space with an open-plan kitchen and living area. It is a relaxing place to spend many an hour watching the wildlife and enjoying the sights and sounds of Kent We have installed for your enjoyment day & night vision cameras so you can watch the birds and ducks by day and badgers and foxes at night.

The Oast Cottage: Private Annex with own entrance.

We are pleased to offer our refurbished annex with double bedroom, private bathroom, own front door and a private field for dogs. Oast Cottage is a converted stables attached to the main Oast House. The Oast is set in a conservation area of Boughton Monchelsea which consists of converted farm buildings, listed houses and a 16th Century pub (directly opposite). The area boasts many places to visit (including Leeds Castle), countryside walks, as well as numerous pubs.

Northdown Lodge

We are a unique rural modern lodge with every luxury, nestled in 3 acres. Beautiful views and walking on the Northdown's way. Great local pubs to enjoy. No better place to relax and unwind watching amazing sunsets, and perhaps sampling our local wine grown next door. Or put your feet up by the log burner and watch a film from our vast collection, perhaps with a homemade afternoon tea (available to book in advance). Whatever your preference, you wont be disappointed.

The property is also NOT SUITABLE for infants, children or pets. Two adults only.

Oak Cottage is a beautiful holiday home boasting a large private patio area with wood fired hot tub nestled at the foot of the North Downs. Located in the heart of Kent, in a small village called Harrietsham, we are known for our outstanding views, abundant wildlife and fantastic walks. We are located on a small holding with alpacas, pigs, a sheep called Boo and various birds which you are more than welcome to pet and feed.
