You’re close to Kidwelly, with its historic castle and charming local atmosphere, and within easy reach of the coast for beach days, coastal walks and fresh sea air. Ffos Las Racecourse is nearby too, making the cottage a great choice for race days and events. When you want a bit more bustle, Carmarthen is just a short drive away for shops, cafés, restaurants and local amenities. Not suitable for anyone under 14

The Gambo is a traditional Shepherd's Hut with all the modern comforts you need for a relaxing break. It has a king-size bed, a fitted kitchen, full size fridge, wood-burning stove and bathroom. The nearest beach, Pembrey country park and Ffos Las racecourse are 10 minutes drive. Gower, the Brecon Beacons and Tenby are all within a 30-45 minutes drive and make popular day trips.

The house is situated on the outskirts of Kidwelly and Ferryside which both have shops, cafes and pubs, and the train station is just a 10 min drive from the house, making it the perfect base to explore the delights of South Wales.
