This truly unique thatched cottage enjoys a central yet peaceful location in the the beautiful village of Plockton. The cottage sleeps two in studio style accommodation, with shower room and a well equipped kitchen. It is close to the loch, perfect for kayaking, and just a short stroll to pubs, restaurants, shops or even seal trips, the location is perfect. It is truly unique and centuries old, but has modern comforts throughout and even its own off street parking, a rare find in Plockton!

Situated at the edge of the village, you are a short stroll from local amenities. Indoors you are greeted by the warm colour of the wood, and feels especially cosy when the cast iron fire is roaring. Samphire Lodge has three spacious bedrooms, a wet room, an outdoor sauna and fully equipped kitchen.

You will always get a warm welcome in this cosy timber forestry house. Bedroom areas are light and fresh with a separate dining/sitting room where you can relax with a book or a dvd. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen and also an additional enclosed /sheltered area which can be used for relaxing and dining too. Achmore village is 7 miles from Eilean Donan Castle and Plockton, and 15 miles from the Isle of Skye.

The Wee Croft House offers stunning views over the sound of Sleat. Renovated to a high standard to ensure our guests stay is comfortable and relaxed, while retaining its traditional cosy charm.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.

We are centrally located on the West Coast 500 route, half an hours drive to the Isle of Skye and her majestic Cuillin mountains or tackle the famous Bealach na Ba to Applecross and enjoy fresh seafood at the Inn.
