Nur 200m vom Meer entfernt und doch geschützt vor dem Wind, befindet sich Casa Kalisat „Haus Glück“. Es gibt einen Supermarkt in Charco und mehrere gute inseltypische Restaurants in Mala und Arrieta, wo sich auch ein langer, flacher Sandstrand, geeignet für Kinder und Surfer befindet. Eine geschützte Badestelle(200m) aus natürlichem Lavagestein, ermöglicht ganzjährig das Baden bei Hochwasser, ein Felsen(500m) mit Trittleiter ist für Schwimmer und Taucher der perfekte Zugang zum Meer. Mehrere Wanderpfade nehmen hinter dem Haus ihren Anfang. Der schönste führt direkt zum Ausflugspunkt „Jardin de Cactus“, des bekannten Inselkünstlers César Manrique.

Playa Marina is located in between Mala, and Arrieta, in the north of Lanzarote. Originally built as a healthsenter, and there is 3 bungalows together, and one main house. It is very close to the ocean, and there is some wonderful caves there that is accessible at low tide. Sometimes there is a sandy beach at low tide, but when there has been lots of waves, the sand is washed further out. Then there round stones before the sand. 2 km to Arrieta where there is a beach, stores, and restaurants.
