We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Entire Home - Maydena \ Mt Field \ Tyenna

You'll have my self-contained house in Fitzgerald to yourselves. It is modern and family-friendly. It's 5 minutes from the Tyenna river and a magic spot for fishing and watching Platypus. Less than 5 minutes from the Maydena Mountain Bike Park. Also MT Field and National Park are a 10 minute drive. Stay in and prepare meals or have dinner at the Mountain Bike Park (check their socials for opening times). As well, the visitors center at MT Field has a stylish and comprehensive cafe.

In the heart of our 1,500-strong merino flock, lots of walks or just watch some of our 6000 sheep walk past your cottage or in the paddocks .We have great internet , lots of DVD's in the cupboard along with free WFI.

Warm up next to the wood-fire after a short stroll to the local restaurants, bars and cafes located in North Hobart. Situated within 1.9km of the CBD and 2.8km to Salamanca waterfront, there is a bus stop at the end of the street. A microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge are provided for your convenience, as well as a BBQ on your private deck.

Our cosy one bedroom one bathroom studio accommodation has easy access and is centrally located on Hobart's eastern shore, just 5 minutes (4.5 klms) drive from the CBD and and 3 minutes drive (15 min walk) to local shopping centres. Beautiful views of Mount Wellington, the Tasman Bridge and Hobart's suburbs this studio is well appointed with a queen size bed, kitchenette, refrigerator and air conditioning.

Maydena Mountain Escape
