Deshka Landing Charters & Lodge is a 90 minute drive northwest of Anchorage. We are off the beaten path surrounded by the beauty and wildlife of Alaska. A good hub while you explore Central Alaska including: Denali National Park, MatSu Glacier, Talkeetna and Hatcher Pass. The Chinook dry cabin has it’s own mini-fridge, microwave, heater and electricity. All bathrooms/showers are located in the main lodge. Nightly rental of this cabin includes a continental breakfast. Great for families with two pack n plays/ high chairs and toys. Walk around the airstrip or sit on the deck while your kids play in the yard. Enjoy rainy or cold days in our Igloo. Unwind downstairs with a bar, 65” tv, games, speaker, and pool table. End the evening with a fire or sauna. Two tie down.

It is rural so we get the northern lights often and the air strip is perfect for viewing. 15 minutes from Palmer and Wasilla.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.
