Downstairs, well equipped kitchen-diner, shower room/toilet. 10-15min walk to Nailsworth centre with many eateries. Unfortunately unsuitable for those with mobility issues due to stairs/low pitched ceiling.

The Folly is a detached 19th Century Cotswolds cottage. Newly converted from a farm equipment store, the cottage has an open plan kitchen and sitting room, with TV, Wifi and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Upstairs is a bedroom with vaulted ceiling and ensuite shower room. The Folly is charming, spacious and with underfloor heating and full insulation it is a comfortable and relaxed home from home. The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

This is a stylish restoration of a former milking parlour set in 10 acres. The accommodation comprises 2 large rooms including a gallery kitchen and bathroom. It is private and self-contained with its own garden. The site has horses, goats, rabbits and chickens and on the far side a No-Dig permaculture vegetable garden. It is set in a beautiful location in the Cotswolds with countryside on all sides yet within minutes of Minchinhampton with public footpaths running from the door.

Minnow Cottage is a beautiful 200 year old Cotswold cottage set on a little stream in the charming and quirky village of Chalford . Although petite in stature, the cottage oozes character with low ceilings and beams and has all the qualities needed if you are looking for a rural retreat or romantic break. There is a village shop and cafe all within a few minutes walk. The property has its own parking and all the amenities to make it a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds.
